SEC + 3 Week 12

So here we are at Week 12 of the season, and we still have no clue who is going to play in Atlanta for the SEC Title. Alabama certainly looked good beating LSU by just dominating the fourth quarter. Missouri took care of business to retain their lead in the East. This weekend is important for South Carolina and Georgia, who are both nipping at the heels of Mizzou, as losing efforts would result in their "elimination" for the title game.

I went 8-2 to increase my straight up record to 81 correct and 19 missed on the year. I have to get better at picking out of conference games. Speaking of those, here they are:

Southern Cal 23
(4) Stanford 31

The Cardinal will be able to hold off a Trojan team that's hungry in front of their home crowd, but this game will be closer than people expect.

Nebraska 10
(16) Michigan State 23

Sparty's defense will suffocate an ailing Nebraska offense, as Michigan State wins a conference game on the road.

Houston 20
(20) Louisville 36

Teddy takes of care of business at home this week.

Moving into SEC action:

Troy 12
Ole Miss 46

The Rebels will be able to blow Troy out at home and get ready to host a top ten Mizzou team next week.

Kentucky 13
Vanderbilt 36

Vandy will be as ruthless on the Wildcats as they were in the Swamp last week against the Gators.

(25) Georgia 30
(7) Auburn 38

Georgia and Auburn renew their rivalry this weekend at Jordan-Hare. This game really can go either way, and Todd Gurley makes a dynamic difference for the Bulldogs when he is on the field. Auburn's rushing attack will equip them for a shootout on the ground and ultimately give them the win.

Florida 20
(10) South Carolina 42

Florida comes into Columbia simply desperate for a win, as Will Muschamp's team is looking at staying home during bowl season. South Carolina's Connor Shaw is even healthier this week and primed to win yet another consecutive home game. Still unclear whether Tyler Murphy will start or sit, as the Gamecocks should roll in the second half.

Mississippi State 20
(1) Alabama 45

The Tide take their award tour into Starkville this week. The Bulldogs will play them tough for a bit, but Alabama is the reigning champion for a reason.
