Here's my picks for Monday, May 18: (run lines from SportsPlays.com)
Toronto Blue Jays (+1.5) vs. Los Angeles Angels
The Angels throw C.J. Wilson against the Blue Jays in the one day game Monday afternoon. Toronto has had success against Wilson at the plate, and behind the pitching of Aaron Sanchez, the Blue Jays are a good play as underdogs.
Detroit Tigers (-1.5) vs. Milwaukee Brewers
I love the Tigers as favorites in this game, as the Brewers could easily be the worst team in Major League Baseball. Detroit's Kyle Lobstein has been very efficient this season, and has gone at least seven innings in all but one of his starts. Mike Fiers will pitch for the Brewers, and the Tigers will have a big day at the plate.
Cleveland Indians (+1.5) vs. Chicago White Sox
Elite pitchers Corey Kluber and Chris Sale square off against each other in Chicago on Monday. U.S. Cellular is a hitter's park, but Kluber has made an adjustment that's really taken him back to his form last year. We all remember how well he pitched last year, well enough to take home the AL Cy Young.
