Week 7 Predictions (SEC + 3)

Here are the long awaited SEC Week 7 Predictions!

Ole Miss 28 Auburn 6

Auburn just is not able to throw the football.  Ole Miss has been able to put points on pretty good teams, and I think they will be just too much for the Tigers.

#1 Alabama 42 Missouri 17

I think Missouri will keep it close out of the gates…for about a quarter.  Alabama will blow up that Mizzou offense that doesn’t lack talent, just big plays.  I do think they will score some points though.

#4 Florida 31 Vanderbilt 17

Florida travels to Nashville to play the Commodores.  I expect Vandy to play Florida as tough as they can, but I think the Gators will just be too much on both sides of the football.

Arkansas 21 Kentucky 17

In the battle of the bottom of the SEC, I think Arkansas will run the football against Kentucky.  Both of these teams have had disappointing years, and both have been beaten by teams from the Sun Belt Conference.  I think Arkansas pulls out a tough one in front of the home crowd.

#19 Mississippi State 24 Tennessee 20

In a game that’s going to be very tough for Mississippi State, I think the Bulldogs are going to be able to pound it out on the ground against the Vols.  This game could go either way, as Tennessee has probably the best passing attack in the SEC.  Look for a good close one here.

#22 Texas A&M 38 #23 Louisiana Tech 16

The legend of Texas A&M Freshman QB Johnny Manziel continues this weekend as the Aggies are going to run over Louisiana Tech.  Tech will put up a few points against the Aggies defense, but they won’t put up nearly enough.

#3 South Carolina 20 #9 LSU 13

Hate or love this pick by me, but I think Carolina will be able to force Zach Mettenberger to make some mistakes throwing the ball.  LSU will try to pressure Connor Shaw into making some mistakes of his own.  This should be an awesome throw down in Baton Rouge Saturday night.
