We are in week eleven of the NCAA football season. Let’s get on with some SEC picks:
Arkansas @ South Carolina
The Gamecocks are coming off a bye week and the tough loss of Marcus Lattimore. Lorenzo Ward indicated this week that he was making some changes to a secondary that was soft against Tennessee. The Hogs will come throwing, but it won’t be enough.
South Carolina 35 Arkansas 24
Missouri @ Tennessee
If you want offense, this is your game this weekend. Both teams are not very good on defense. This game is pretty much irrelevant to anything besides a Missouri bowl birth. I think Tyler Bray and the Vols get it done at home.
Tennessee 35 Mizzou 32
Texas A&M @ Alabama
Bama is coming off an emotional win in Baton Rouge last weekend. They face a tough test against “Johnny Football,” who is easily going to be the SEC Freshman of the Year. A&M’s mighty offense didn’t prove itself against Florida or LSU, so I don’t think they will prove themselves in Tuscaloosa today.
Alabama 31 Texas A&M 17
Georgia @ Auburn
The Bulldogs have been solid to say the least since their early October meltdown in Columbia. SEC East is at stake versus a struggling Auburn team that can’t find their identity on offense. The road team dominates in this series. This game might be close for a little while ,but the Bulldogs get the east today.
Georgia 35 Auburn 14
Mississippi State @ LSU
Mississippi State has laid an egg the past two weeks after starting out unblemished. The SEC West stretched doesn’t get any easier this week as they go to Death Valley. LSU is clawing to stay in position for at-large BCS Bowl birth. Les Miles and the Tigers get it done today.
LSU 36 Mississippi State 13
Vanderbilt @ Ole Miss
These two teams are both staring bowl bids in the face. Vandy goes into Oxford with a head full of steam, but I don’t think it will be enough. This one, along with Tennessee/Missouri, could be the closest SEC game today.
Ole Miss 21 Vanderbilt 20
So there you have my SEC Picks. I’m going to make four more picks just to round it out to an even ten.
Kansas State 31 TCU 27
Oregon State 17 Stanford 14
Oregon 42 Cal 24
Notre Dame 31 Boston College 3
That’s all I have for today. Be sure to follow me on twitter @griffaldo or shoot me an email at JCGriffin13@yahoo.com . Thanks for the read!
