SEC + 3 Week 8 Picks

I was pretty proud of myself, going 9-1 last week. That puts me at 52-10 this year on the blog going straight up with picks.

So we've gotten pretty used to the structure here. Let's start with our out of conference picks.

Indiana 28
Michigan 30

I think this is an intriguing match up in the BIG 10.  Michigan needs to find a way to stop an on-the-rise  Indiana team.

Notre Dame 31
Southern Cal 17

USC just isn't the same USC we are used to.

(5) Florida State 42
(3) Clemson 38

This game reminds me of the same dynamic that was the Texas A&M versus Alabama last year during Johnny Football's campaign for the Heisman.  I think this score could be flipped, but I think there is definitely going to be points scored.

Now to the SEC picks:

(15) Georgia 30
Vanderbilt 21

I think this will be an ugly conference game.  Georgia wins pounding the football.

(11) South Carolina 42
Tennessee 21

The Carolina offense will continue to click in Rocky Top.

(22) Florida 16
(14) Missouri 14

Florida defense finds a way to pull it out on the road.

(24) Auburn 24
(7) Texas A & M 35

I think this game will be closer than people give it credit.  Manziel and the Aggies will pull away late in tough conference game.

(6) LSU 27
Ole Miss 17

The Bayou Bengals are quietly making a statement in the West.

Arkansas 13
(1) Alabama 45

The Tide rolls again this week.

So there you have 'em! Thanks for the read and be sure to follow me on twitter @griffaldo
