SEC + 3: Week 12

Last week, Griff made things even by going 5-3 to Keister's 4-4 record. This ties us up at 51-22 for this year's picks. Here's how we each think week 12 will pan out:

South Carolina vs. Florida

Keister: The Ole Ball Coach gets handed a frustrating "L" at his old stomping grounds. Florida's rushing attack will control the clock, and the Gamecocks' lack of defense will be their demise.

The Pick: Florida 33 South Carolina 24

Griff: Steve Spurrier will get the Gamecocks amped up for a huge matchup in Gainesville. South Carolina has to win their final three games to become eligible for a bowl game. Pharoh Cooper will continue his streak of impact performance, except this time he leads the Gamecocks to a big win.

The Pick: South Carolina 49 Florida 41

(1) Mississippi State vs. (5) Alabama

Keister: This game is college football at its finest form, and the most unfortunate fact is that one team will have to lose. Dak Prescott nearly cements his Heisman Trophy case in a game breaking performance!

The Pick: Mississippi State 28 Alabama 23

Griff: Both teams have a physical ground game, while maintaining the threat to make big plays through the air. This game could end up being the best SEC matchup of the year, and a late turnover puts Alabama back into the playoff projections next week.

The Pick: Alabama 35 Mississippi State 26

Kentucky vs. Tennessee

Keister: What seems to be a good matchup on paper turns into a showcase for the Volunteers with QB Joshua Dobbs and WR Pig Howard stealing the show against the Wildcats!

The Pick: Tennessee 35 Kentucky 27

Griff: Kentucky has dropped four straight games, but the Wildcats will get back into the win column by using their athletic defense to create trouble for young Josh Dobbs. Kentucky outlasts Vols in a tough conference game.

The Pick: Kentucky 31 Tennessee 30

(9) Auburn vs. (15) Georgia

Keister: The return of Todd Gurley takes the backseat to the showcase of future Heisman candidate Nick Chubb. A wild home-crowd and solid defense propels Coach Richt's squad to a big time home-victory!

The Pick: Georgia 41 Auburn 30

Griff: Auburn won't be able to completely shut down the Bulldogs' rushing attack, but they'll be to limit it. The Tigers will be able to get themselves into a situation where they make Georgia QB Hutson Mason throw the ball, and this will allow them to create some huge turnovers and model an offensive game plan after what the Florida Gators used a couple weeks ago.

The Pick: Auburn 45 Georgia 31

Missouri vs. (24) Texas A&M

Keister: Freshman QB Kyle Allen shows off his quality play against a struggling Mizzou team.

The Pick: Texas A&M 38 Missouri 20

Griff: Texas A&M will have to contain the pass rush that Missouri brings, but the Aggies offensive line will protect whoever's taking snaps. Kenny Hill is eligible for this game, but freshman Kyle Allen will make the start. This being said, the Aggies' receivers will make this one fairly easy.

The Pick: Texas A&M 35 Missouri 24

(17) LSU vs. Arkansas

Keister: Last week's heartbreaking loss in Baton Rouge doesn't do the Razorbacks any favors, and LSU's running game and good team defense will get showcased early and often!

The Pick: LSU 28 Arkansas 13

Griff: LSU's defense will silence the Razorbacks' ground game, and Les Miles' team will continue Bret Bielema's winless streak within the SEC.

The Pick: LSU 34 Arkansas 20

(19) Clemson vs. (22) Georgia Tech

Keister: The Tiger defense will show up big against a well-organized rushing attack, and Clemson holds off the pesky Yellow Jackets.

The Pick: Clemson 31 Georgia Tech 17

Griff: DeShaun Watson will return to provide a spark for the Tigers' offense that Cole Stoudt wasn't able to create as a starter, but in the end, Georgia Tech solves the Clemson defensive scheme and wins a shootout.

The Pick: Georgia Tech 38 Clemson 31

(8) Ohio State vs. (25) Minnesota

Keister: Expect the Golden Gophers to give the Buckeyes a legitimate scare in this Top 25 matchup. J.T. Barrett provides more reason for a looming QB controversy in Columbus before next season!

The Pick: Ohio State 37 Minnesota 28

Griff: If my prediction holds true and Mississippi State loses to Alabama, then you'll see J.T. Barrett's name propel itself into a lot of Heisman Trophy chatter. The Buckeyes found a chance to redeem their early season loss to Virginia Tech, and even with a slow start in this game, Urban Meyer's squad gets the job done.

The Pick: Ohio State 45 Minnesota 27

(3) Florida State vs. Miami (FL)

Keister: This sounds like a great game, but the bad news is that it's not 1992!

The Pick: Florida State 44 Miami (FL) 21

Griff: Duke Johnson and the Hurricanes' offense will come out and punch the Seminoles' defense in the mouth through running the football. Unfortunately for Miami, that punch won't be nearly hard enough and Jameis Winston has another near-flawless second half.

The Pick: Florida State 38 Miami (FL) 28
