Here are my picks for Wednesday, April 22nd: (run lines based off of SportsPlays.com)
Chicago White Sox (+1.5) vs. Cleveland Indians
A bet for the bold here, as Corey Kluber's still looking for his first win. I didn't wager as much as I normally do for this matchup, but I think the White Sox will be able to get the bats going at home to cover.
St. Louis Cardinals (+1.5) vs. Washington Nationals
After a crazy finish last night, the Cardinals will be hungry to even the series with the Nationals. John Lackey looked great in his last start, and he'll try to get another win today against Doug Fister.
Baltimore Orioles (+1.5) vs. Toronto Blue Jays
I usually don't like going against the Blue Jays because their offense is so volatile and powerful at times. Today, they go up against Ubaldo Jiminez, who looked really good in his last start. The reason I'm going with this bet today, however, isn't based off of Jiminez, but more about who is he is facing-off against. Aaron Sanchez has looked like a rookie, losing his last two starts with a 6.23 ERA. Things won't get easier for Sanchez against a solid American League East offense.
