SEC+3: Bowl Game Picks Part Three

Here we are with out third edition of bowl picks! Check out our picks for the next bowl games:

San Diego County Credit Union Poinsettia Bowl
BYU vs. Wyoming

Godsey: After losing to Boise State by one point in October, BYU finished strong by winning out in blowouts. With Wyoming being hit or miss as of late, with mostly miss. I’ll go with the Cougars.

The Pick: BYU 30 Wyoming 17

Griff: BYU will finish the 2016 with five-straigh victories. A lot of points will be scored in this one.

The Pick: BYU 38 Wyoming 24

Famous Idaho Potato Bowl
Idaho vs. Colorado State

Godsey: Idaho finished the season strong with wins over a few good teams. Colorado State however is on a slightly different level than Idaho and I believe that will show in the score.

The Pick: Colorado State 41 Idaho 27

Griff: Colorado State pulls out a big win to finish the year in a close one.

The Pick: Colorado State 38 Idaho 35

Popeyes Bahamas Bowl
Eastern Michigan vs. Old Dominion

Godsey: I do believe in streaks and getting hot, and Old Dominion is just that: on a streak and hot. I think they’ll have a really good trip to the Bahamas.

The Pick: Old Dominion 35 Eastern Michigan 24

Griff: Eastern Michigan will be able to limit Old Dominion's ability to score points by forcing turnovers. That will be the difference in this clash in the Caribbean.

The Pick: Eastern Michigan 36 Old Dominion 34

Lockheed-Martin Armed Forces Bowl
Louisiana Tech vs. (25) Navy

Godsey: Navy is pitted with injury, and Louisiana Tech is upbeat and high powered. Louisiana Tech should come out on top in this one.

The Pick: Louisiana Tech 38 Navy 27

Griff: Navy will be able to work through its injuries on offense. Louisiana Tech will have fits with the triple-option attack of the Midshipmen.

The Pick: Navy 28 Louisiana Tech 27

Dollar General Bowl
Ohio vs. Troy

Godsey: In a game between a strong defense and a really good offense, give me the Trojans from Alabama.

The Pick: Troy 28 Ohio 24

Griff: I really enjoy watching Troy's defensive front work. Both of these teams are 3-2 in each team's last five games. Troy will use its stingy defense to limit Ohio's high-powered offense and catch the Bobcats making mistakes.

The Pick: Troy 35 Ohio 20
