SEC+3: December 30 Bowl Games

Liberty Bowl
Georgia vs. TCU

Godsey: After a non-impressive regular season in Kirby Smart's "head coaching debut," he really needs to have his Bulldogs ready to go against TCU. By no means is he in the hot seat, but a win here would put a positive spin on the season, especially after losing to Georgia Tech. The Bulldogs have the weapons and I just think they will get it done and win the Liberty Bowl.

The Pick: Georgia 27 TCU 14

Griff: Georgia was my "go-to" pick to win the SEC East this year, but the Bulldogs found ways to remain mediocre. Perhaps I was a year early in that prediction.

The Pick: TCU 31 Georgia 27

Sun Bowl
(18) Stanford vs. North Carolina

Godsey: Both teams will be without their starting running backs. While that might not mean that much to North Carolina, it will be devastating to Stanford. The Cardinals will be without 1500+ yard running back, Christian McCaffrey. While no 1 person can single-handedly win or lose a game, he was very important to the current Cardinal hot streak. I’m going with the Tarheels ending this PAC-12 dominance over the ACC.

The Pick: North Carolina 34 Stanford 20

Griff: When the North Carolina offense is on, the Tarheels are a scary unit. Mitch Trubisky can improve his NFL stock even more with a big game against the Cardinal.

The Pick: North Carolina 42 Stanford 31

Music City Bowl
Nebraska vs. (21) Tennessee

Godsey: Nebraska was undefeated on October 29, after that they are less than .500. Tennessee isn’t in better shape, but they are healthy right now and that will be the difference.

The Pick: Tennessee 38 Nebraska 24

Griff: "The Champions of Life" grab a Music City championship today over the Huskers.

The Pick: Tennessee 27 Nebraska 17

Arizona Bowl
South Alabama vs. Air Force

Godsey: South Alabama made a splash this season but Air Force clearly has the hot hand. If I were a betting man, my money would be on Air Force.

The Pick: Air Force 30 South Alabama 17

Griff: This should be a fun game to watch. South Alabama has some talent on the roster, and Air Force was the best among the service academies this season. I have to go with Falcons in this one.

The Pick: Air Force 28 South Alabama 24

Orange Bowl
(6) Michigan vs. (11) Florida State

Godsey: I’m really excited about this game. Florida State is red hot and the Wolverines are looking to make a statement. There are a lot of variables that a team will have to do but one thing is for certain: Michigan must stop Dalvin Cook.

The Pick: Michigan 34 Florida State 28

Griff: Florida State will get another big game performance from Dalvin Cook and grab an "upset" bowl victory over the Wolverines.

The Pick: Florida State 31 Michigan 30
